We have an opportunity for a Director, Learning and Development, to join us here in the Culture and Industry team and shape the learning and development practices of iCBR. Landing this job will mean joining a team that is responsible for high quality and professional advice and services relating to learning and development. Our team shapes organisational capability and development through training and development frameworks, including providing core learning and development training modules for directorate staff, encompassing both ACT Government-wide and iCBR-specific programs. We offer advice, guidance, templates, and frameworks for professional development plans and staff onboarding. The Culture and Industry team has a highly connected and collaborative work culture and would welcome a person who has the interpersonal qualities as well as an agile and adaptive style to match the changing workflow and priorities that come with being a small team within Infrastructure Canberra. Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Experience in leading learning and development initiatives and/or management of Learning Management Systems (or equivalent) are highly desired. Experience in research, analytical and high-level management skills to develop and implement strategic learning to build workforce capability are highly desired. Relevant tertiary or other accredited training qualifications and/or relevant experience in Learning and Development, HR and/or Organisational Development would be highly regarded. Note: Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
