We are seeking a Payroll & Human Resources Officer who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This hands-on, multifaceted role combines end-to-end payroll management with comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll Management: Accurately process monthly and fortnightly payroll for approximately 180 employees.
* HR Administration: Support HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, award interpretation and administration support.
* Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communications.
* Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR and Quality standards.
* Policy & Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of Company policies and procedures.
* Employee Experience: Drive continuous improvement in HR and payroll systems to enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.
What You'll Bring:
* Proven experience Payroll Processing & HR Administration.
* Strong understanding of employment legislation and award interpretation.
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset to see tasks through to completion.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
* Hands-on experience with Employment Hero or similar HRIS, with the ability to navigate and analyse backend functionalities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft professional correspondence.
* Capability to thrive in a dynamic and varied role, handling multiple priorities with ease.
