Position:Coordinator Status:Full-time (Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week) Salary:$ $40.42 per hour + $3.55 per hour remote allowance + additional allowances and superannuation Qualification:Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent) Location: One Tree Wadeye Children and Family Centre, Wadeye NT

One Tree is a national not for profit offering early childhood education, out of school hours care, community services, registered early childhood training, and professional support. Our remote services are in some of Australia's most hard to reach, underserviced locations. Located in the small coastal community of Wadeye, 420kms from Darwin, the Wadeye Children and Family Centre has a dedicated and passionate team.

What you'll do

* Provide supervision and direction to reporting staff, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the service are in accordance with One Tree Community Services (OTCS) policies, procedures, government regulations, legislation, and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
* In consultation with the Programs Manager and service staff, design, implement and evaluate programs for children in accordance with OTCS requirements
* Oversee continuous improvement and compliance, ensuring the service meets and exceeds the NQS
* Lead by example and ensure the work environment operates in accordance with OTCS Spirit (vision), Purpose and Values, Philosophy and Code of Ethics
* Actively create partnerships with families, reporting staff and the community, championing cultural safety and child safe practices
* Oversee and ensure the workplace operates within WHS requirements and duty of care of children and their families is maintained
* Be a Responsible Person of the service

**Selection criteria****

* Diploma of Early Childhood Education or equivalent (must provide evidence of ACECQA approval)
* Current First aid and CPR certificate
* Current and valid NT Ochre clearance
* Clear National police clearance (less than 6 months old)
* Must be located in Australia with full working rights
* Organisational skills including general organisation, planning, time management, scheduling, coordinating resources and meeting deadlines
* Interpersonal and communication skills
* Understanding of, and commitment to comply with OTCS code of ethics, vision (spirit), policies and procedures and to support the organisation's culture
* Experience in building successful relationships with staff, families, and community
* A commitment to continuous improvement and efficiencies in service delivery
* Knowledge of relevant state and commonwealth laws and regulations
