Your future role
We have an exciting opportunity available for an Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team our team responsible for the maintenance of the NGR fleet. Based at our facility in Wulkuraka, you will work with the broader Engineering, Operations, Planning, QA and Project teams to provide support to the fleet. You will provide oversight, validation and corrective solutions on all Mechanical systems and intrinsic interfaces. This will also involve establishing systems according to the relevant standards, maintenance regimes and solutions to continually improve the performance and condition of the vehicles.
We’ll look to you for:
* Supporting fleet reliability improvement initiatives and support design enhancements.
* Deliver maintenance optimisation and overhaul projects under the A&M Services contract.
* Conduct risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses for engineering solutions.
* Support FRACAS investigations and Product Safety Reviews.
* Drive technology adoption to enhance engineering and performance outcomes.
* Assist with depot asset and equipment management.
* Issue Modifications, Fleet Checks, and work instructions as needed.
* Provide general engineering support as required to maintain contractual compliance
