We are seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Accountant / Finance Managerto lead the Finance & Accounts function. This leadership role is critical to ensuring the integrity of the financial systems, the accuracy of the reporting, and compliance across our operations.

Position Responsibilities…
As a key leader within the corporate services team, you will work in a hands-on position in accounting day to day along with providing guidance to a small accounts team.
* Lead the Finance & Accounts team (Finance Officer + Accounts Officer)
* Prepare monthly financial statements and year-end reports
* Oversee NDIS revenue recognition and high-level reconciliations
* Manage BAS, PAYG, superannuation, payroll reconciliation, and ATO compliance
* Strengthen internal controls and financial processes
* Support external audits and NDIS financial reviews
* Provide cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
* Ensure accuracy of all billing, claims, and revenue data
About You…
We are looking for a Finance and Accounting professional with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in hands on accounting roles ideally in the NDIS sector and personal values that align with the industry.
You will thrive in this role if you are a hands-on accountant who enjoys both leadership and technical detail. You will bring:
* Strong experience in financial accounting, payroll oversight, and statutory reporting
* Strong understanding of end to end payroll practices and systems
* Advanced analytical skills and strong problem-solving capability
* High attention to accuracy and data integrity
* Expertise with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
* Confident communication and relationship-building skills
* A proactive approach to process improvement and delivering results
* Formal qualifications in Accounting or Commerce
* Membership with a recognised accounting body (CPA/CA/IPA)
Experience within the NDIS, SIL, SDA, in the sector is desirable along with NDIS clearance, police clearance and a valid working with children check or willingness to apply.
