Our Disability Services division is a high quality, rights-based service with a person-centred philosophy of "Everything about you, with you". This includes a 30 bed Aged Care Facility responsible for supporting people with disability to lead their best lives through delivering high-quality care.
Role Details
Are you a passionate Registered Nurse ready to make a real difference in aged care?
Northgate Aged Care Service is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver safe, evidence-based, and person-centred care to older adults and people living with disability.
In this vital role, you’ll support quality and safety initiatives, participate in clinical governance, and foster a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. You’ll supervise and mentor care staff, contribute to continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
This role requires a current AHPRA registration, experience in aged care essential, and desirable to have experience in disability care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, safe, and respectful workplace.
Flexibility to work across a 24-hour rotating roster is essential.

Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Essential Qualifications:
Incumbent must be registered as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate, and have completed a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) approved program of study or the NMBA-approved units of study for the administration of medicines.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check, which has been issued within six months of your application for the role.
