The Role
As a Despatch Officer, you will be a key member of our close‐knit logistics team, playing a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their deliveries in full and on time. This is an entry‐level position based at our Richmond Head Office, working within a small‐scale and hands‐on warehouse setting. You will be supported with in‐office training and development to ensure you are fully equipped to meet the requirements of the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Pack and despatch watches, spare parts, repair watches and marketing material for all Swatch Group brands
* Prepare shipping documentation for carriers such as Toll Priority, Star Track Express, Fed Ex and DHL
* Prepare customs documentation for overseas shipments
* Assist Logistics Manager in ensuring all supplies related to despatching are in stock
* Follow up all delayed and missing despatch items in transit
* Participate in stock takes and general warehouse functions as required
* Receive courier deliveries and weekly consignments of watches, spare parts and POS material
* Ensure items are packed and despatched with accuracy within given time frames and service parameters
Skills & Experience
* Basic – intermediate computer skills
* Some pick and packing experience desirable
* Exposure to domestic and international couriers desirable
* Team player
* Organisational skills
* Versatile and able to cope within a high‐volume setting
