I am working with a library network, covering various areas of Queensland, to hire a Library Assistant at the AO2 level for 3 x evening shifts per week (5pm to 8pm. Mon, Wed, Thurs evenings) at their South Bank campus.
This contract will initially be from 8 October to 11 December There is a possibility of extension.
In this role, be responsible for:
* Face to face customer service enquiries
* Online customer service enquiries
* Issuing and returning books
* Assisting students with access to the organisation's library, equipment (eg printer) and systems
Candidates looking to apply for this position should:
* Enjoy working in a customer-facing position
* Be available to work evening shifts from 5-8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week
* Have strong administrative skills
* Have the ability to assist with basic IT troubleshooting
* Have an understanding of different library procedures and policies
* Have experience working in a library environment
