The Role
As the Financial Accountant you will join a close knit finance team and report directly to senior finance leadership. This is a broad and hands on role where you will take ownership of core accounting responsibilities while also gaining exposure to process improvement and project work as the business grows. It offers genuine progression for someone who wants to move beyond pure processing.
Key Responsibilities
Manage key parts of the month end process including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across core accounts
Oversee transactional accounting activities and support overall financial operations
Process payments for contractor medical professionals
Support the Finance Manager and Head of Finance with ad hoc reporting and analysis
Contribute to ongoing process enhancement as the finance function develops
Required Skills and Experience
CA or CPA qualified or working toward it
Big Four background or strong chartered experience, open to first movers
One to three years of post qualification experience preferred
Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders
Ambitious, self motivated, and eager to grow into a broader role
Australian citizen or permanent resident
