Job Tasks & Responsibilities
We're seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker or Fabricator to join our growing team. If you're passionate about quality workmanship and take pride in your trade, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Fabricating new water truck tanks, tippers, piping systems, and structural components to a high standard.
* Ensuring a high-quality finish across all fabricated products.
* Reading and interpreting build sheets and technical drawings with precision.
* Working collaboratively with the team while also showing initiative and independence on tasks.
* Bringing extensive experience in the metal fabrication industry, particularly with steel tanks, pipework, tipper bodies, and structural steel.
* Performing quality checks to ensure all work meets design and safety specifications.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
* Meeting production deadlines through efficient and focused work practices.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Boilermaker with relevant trade certification
* Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication, preferably in a heavy industrial or structural steel setting
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and build sheets accurately
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, consistent work
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Clear communication skills and proficiency in English (written and verbal)
* Forklift license – essential
* A proactive, safety-first mindset and good workshop discipline
