Water & Infrastructure Engineer
The Water and Infrastructure Engineer plans and advises on water, drainage and civil infrastructure across new developments. They analyse flood risks, review designs and costs, and help shape practical, place‐based plans. Working closely with Melbourne Water, councils and internal teams, they support coordinated decision‐making and delivery. They influence planners, designers and stakeholders to ensure infrastructure is well‐integrated and future‐ready. Success means better planned communities, reduced flood risks, reliable infrastructure delivery, and stronger, evidence‐based decisions that support sustainable growth.

Qualifications and Experience
* A bachelor's degree (or above) in Civil Engineering. (mandatory)
* Two years' experience in municipal engineering or civil consulting services. (Desirable)
* Relevant pre‐employment screening and reference checks will be required.
* Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
