We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Digital team on a full-time contract. As an experienced Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders across AFG to elicit business requirements and influence solutions that drive business value and deliver strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
* Participate in discovery sessions to identify and define business problems, specify project scope, and understand priority and desirability of outcomes.
* Facilitate workshops, interviews and focus group sessions with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit business, UX and technical requirements.
* Document and articulate requirements in the form of epics, user stories and acceptance criteria to support product deliverables.
* Manage end-to-end requirements traceability across the SSDLC from inception through to delivery, working closely with development and QA teams to ensure business requirements are met.
* Understand and document business processes, identifying waste and inefficiency to propose lean optimised processes.
* Participate in defining quality standards for products covering performance, functionality, and user experience.
* Support the creation of test plans for measuring product quality and user acceptance, and participate in the execution of UAT testing.
* Cultivate collaborative relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts, engaging in negotiations to align and manage expectations around project outcomes.
Who We're Looking For
* Enthusiastic and motivated business analyst who thrives on the challenge of innovation and working in a fast-paced environment.
* Intermediate to senior-level business analyst with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience working on technology projects, including automation and AI.
* Proven strong stakeholder management, including the ability to engage with multiple teams and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to elicit requirements using workshop facilitation, interviewing, presenting and facilitating sessions with executive, business and technical stakeholders.
* Ability to document and provide traceability for business and technical requirements.
* Experience with process mapping, gap analysis, and current and future state analysis.
* Understanding of different project management methodologies.
* Experience working in an Agile team.
