PO4 Team LeaderSalary: $114,948 to $123,610 per annum plus 12.75% superannuationPermanent, Full-TimeAs a Team Leader, you will:Provide supervision to staff in evidence-based skills and processes related to reducing re-offending, including case management, risk assessment, and targeted interventions such as collaborative problem solving, pro-social modelling, cognitive techniques, and restorative justice.Allocate, prioritize, and quality assure individual tasks according to departmental procedures and delegations.Participate in professional development and stay informed about contemporary, evidence-based practices with young offenders, including necessary accreditation.Oversee the suicide risk management process in the youth justice service centre.Provide timely advice on complex matters to ensure quality youth justice casework and restorative practices.Contribute to strategic and operational planning as part of staff and management teams.Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders for case management and restorative justice.Identify trends and evaluate client outcomes to improve service delivery, including performance reporting.Lead recruitment, professional development, and culturally appropriate supervision of staff.Promote a departmental culture of sensitive communication with culturally diverse groups, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, respecting cultural protocols and historical impacts.Demonstrate or develop cultural capability to support an inclusive environment aligned with the Human Rights Act 2019 and community partnerships.Note: Applications remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/640997/25Closing Date: Thursday, 26 June 2025Occupational Group: Community Care
