Role Summary:
The Environmental Services Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our residential facility. This role involves assisting with kitchen, dining room, laundry, and cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in meal preparation and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
* Support with serving meals, including setup and cleanup.
* Handle laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linen and resident clothing.
* Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities' residential areas.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate II in Cleaning Operations and/or Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar qualification. Experience in the Aged Care industry and commercial kitchens is highly regarded.
You will also require a willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day week and possess or have the ability to acquire a current National Police Certificate.
