**Compliance Officer - Crown Perth**

- As a Compliance Officer you will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and the implementation of Crown's safety systems for high risk work. This will ensure the health and safety of employees, contractors and patrons and support business objectives and legislative requirements.
- Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Implement processes which monitor and maintain an effective Permit to Work and Lock out / Tag out systems
- Issuing and revoking of permits for high risk activities
- Review risk assessments and safe work method statements for new Permit Users in conjunction with the Health & Safety Team
- Conducting audits and inspections on site to ensure compliance and conformance
- Generate monthly reports on performance and safety system failures
- Communicate effectively with internal business units to ensure business outcomes are achieved in line with safety procedures
- Reporting on non conformance/compliance and taking necessary actions as required
- Manage fire, life and safety contracts across the complex
- To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following:

- Experience within a safety role with exposure to the Engineering, Maintenance or Construction Industry
- Experience in managing a Permit to Work system
- Previous contractor management experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines whilst coordinating several tasks at once
- Demonstrable experience in the use MS Office in particular Word and Excel
- A relevant Trade Qualification (construction) is highly desirable
- Qualifications within Health & Safety is desirable
