We are seeking a vibrant and dedicated individual to join our team at our Tram Cafe and ensure the successful delivery of functions and events.Provide excellent, productive and friendly customer service to all visitors.
Successfully prepare and sell food and beverages, tour products and merchandise.
Operate an on-line booking and POS system, EFTPOS and cash handling.
Assist in the set-up, operation, and pack-down of functions, ensuring all event needs are met.
Perform all aspects of bar service, including preparing and serving drinks, maintaining stock levels, keeping the bar area clean and organised.
Act as a point of contact for guests during events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any concerns.
Comply with Food Safety and OH&S; compliance of café operations.
Assist with the successful delivery of aligned projects including Groove Tram.
Other duties within training and competencies as required.

Qualifications and Ideal Candidate
Experience in hospitality and customer service, specifically bartending.
Barista skills highly regarded.
Ability to work independently without supervision as well as part of a larger team.
Good basic computer skills – MS Word and Excel, SharePoint, email and internet.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Availability to work weekends (Saturday nights essential), school holidays and public holidays is essential.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (Mandatory).
All Bendigo Heritage employees and volunteers are required to have a valid Working with Children Check.
