Your Role at St John of God Berwick Hospital or Langmore Centre

We are looking for Medical Receptionists and Accounts Support to join our Consulting Suites on a permanent full-time basis. There are multiple opportunities available, both permanent full time and permanent part time, we encourage applications from all suitable candidates. The Accounts Support role will also provide backup for reception and administration duties.

You will be responsible for the primary representation of SJGHC Berwick or Langmore Centre Consulting Suites in maintaining exceptional reception, switchboard, and clerical duties to provide an efficient and timely administration service to our Consultants, Patients, and all Stakeholders both internally and externally.

The Position :

Computer skills in office packages – Genie Software
General Medical Receptionist duties and new patient coordination
Booking appointments
Invoicing and receipting of accounts
Medical billing with health funds, bank reconciliation, and Medicare preferred
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Attend and participate in staff meetings
Take reasonable care of yourself and others.
Not to interfere, bypass, or misuse any system or equipment provided for health, safety, and welfare purposes

You will have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively using strong time management skills, along with excellent communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a capacity to learn and implement new skills and knowledge quickly and accurately.

You will have experience in a Medical Receptionist role, preferably in Specialists' rooms and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

To succeed, you will have the ability to prioritise work requirements, work productively within a team environment, and demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills.

To be considered for the Accounts Support Receptionist role, you will need experience in:

Medical billing with health funds
Bank reconciliation
Medicare (preferred)

We will offer you

Salary: $61,403 to $63,133 per annum, plus 12% superannuation
Permanent full-time position available
