Newcastle Anglican is holding a careers open day for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Lifestyle + Wellbeing & Care Assistants looking to join our team in either a Permanent, Part Time or Casual capacity. The open day will be held on Thursday 28th August 2025 in Booragul NSW. We anticipate the event to run for approximately 3 hours commencing at 10am.
This open day will give you the opportunity to meet with staff and take a tour of our Bishop Tyrell Place Aged Care facility.
Only candidates who hold the relevant qualifications and experience will be invited to the open day.
Newcastle Anglican has 5 Aged Care facilities in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area and 2 in the Taree area. Permanent roles are offered for individual services with casual positions working across all aged care services which can be discussed in more detail on the day.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Actively promote Anglican Care's positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families
* Consistent delivery of person-centred care to residents in our facilities
* Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
* Abide by Aged Care Standards
* Work as an effective team member
About you?
* Certificate III/IV in Individual Support for Care Assistants.
* OR Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* OR Certificate IV - Leisure + Health (CPR required)
* Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) EN +LWO+ Care staff only
* An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to accurately document resident's care/progress
