With a goal of increasing our Enhanced Performance (EP) Business to 70% by 2030, as the Fitter Machinist within the area of Research & Development, you will play a critical role within our Technical Services team where you will be responsible for machining and testing prototypes.
What would you get to do as our R&D; Fitter Machinist within Technical Services?
Take responsibility over the R&D; area which currently consists of two machines and testing equipment, making it ‘your own’
Work autonomously to manufacture prototypes to drawing specifications – be the first person to turn our innovations into reality!
Test the prototypes’ functionality for reliability and to ensure it is fit for market purpose
Frequently interact and collaborate with other members of our team on progress and outcomes

Experience in fitting and machining within a jobbing or production environment
A genuine passion for machining, innovation, future-thinking, and growth
Highly organised person with attention to finer details for that accuracy we enjoy, and good housekeeping
You would be more desirable if you also hold a High-Risk Forklift and Rigging Licence, plus NDT qualifications or experience

This role is based in our Kewdale Workshop as part of the Technical Services Team. Make sure we know where you are located and if you are willing to relocate when applying should you not live nearby.
