Cafe Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products.
Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day cafe operations, including opening, closing, and service delivery.
* Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and light food items.
* Manage stock, supplier orders, and daily cash reconciliation.
* Lead, train, and support a small team of baristas.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in specialty coffee or hospitality supervision is essential.
* Strong barista skills and a passion for quality coffee are a must.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously is necessary.
* A current Food Safety Supervisor certificate is desirable (or willingness to obtain).
