**About the Role**:
WorkPac on behalf of our leading Government client are seeking an experienced Operations Support Officer. As a member of the Operations Support team you will provide oversight and coordination of activities to support the Field Services workforce including recruitment, onboarding and associated employee administrative processes.
Inherently, the position is expected to provide an exceptional customer experience that's delivered with care and exceeds our customers' expectations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Follow defined Work Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures related to the work being undertaken in order to ensure own safety and that of others in the workplace.
Actively identify, report and, where possible, fix workplace hazards.
Responsibility for and actively involved in identifying and managing risk in day to day activities and projects.
Provide coordination and support to the Field Services workforce by:
Maintaining accurate workforce staffing records relevant to Field Services;
Assisting Coordinators with the coordination and administrative support of recruitment processes;
Supporting leaders and employees with induction, onboarding and probation processes;
Liaising with agency labour hire companies in relation to temporary staffing requirements;
Maintaining employee qualifications, tickets and licence records; and
Assisting with training and professional development requests;
Provide backup support to the Operations Support Administrators with the triage, analysis and assignment of customer requests and work orders to ensure tasks are correctly allocated in accordance with identified timeframes.
Provide proactive support to the Field Services Portfolio by assisting with the efficient operation of administrative processes and services, a nd provide backup support to the Operations Support Assistant.
Actively contribute to the review and implementation of streamlined administrative processes, procedures and practices to ensure operational support services meet the diverse and changing needs of the Portfolio.
Undertake administrative tasks and support to members of the Field Services leadership team including Workgroup Leaders, Coordinators and the Manager Field Services.
Undertake other tasks and project work as directed by the Coordinator Operations Support or Manager Field Services.
Respond professionally and positively to all requests for support with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience including telephone calls, face to face and written enquiries.
Treat all customers, both internal and external, with courtesy, empathy, understanding and equity.
Assist to identify opportunities to continuously enhance the customer experience and daily operation of the Operations Support Team and Field Services.
Actively deliver an innovative customer experience that's effortless, delivered with care and exceeds our customers' expectations.
Build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels, providing guidance, advice and support on operational support functions to the Field Services Portfolio.
