About the Role:
As a Breeder Poultry Farm Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of biosecurity and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS). Your hands-on approach will drive the day-to-day operations of a successful poultry farm, covering all aspects of production, animal welfare, staff management, feed deliveries, shed cleanouts, setup, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain exceptional work and behavioural standards.
* Apply excellent husbandry skills.
* Utilize knowledge of B-safe and EMS policies and systems.
* Demonstrate attention to detail and clear communication.
* Be proactive and self-motivated, capable of working independently.
* Ensure a safe work environment and promote safe working practices.
* Show reliability with an excellent attendance record.
* Hold a current driver's license.
* Manage breeder management and poultry industry tasks efficiently.
Essential Skills:
* Proven experience in poultry livestock management.
* Ability to lead and communicate effectively with a small team.
* Proactive time management and prioritization of duties.
* High computer literacy and numeracy skills.
* Forward planning capability and attention to detail.
* Strong focus on safety and adherence to WHS policies.
* Good mechanical skills.
