**The Role**:
We are seeking a Digital Media and Communications Officer to to produce content for digital channels in a timely manner that drives engagement across platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram, and forms part of an integrated communication strategy.
Reporting to the Principal Communications and Engagement Adviser, you will work closely with various teams to support and co-ordinate the program of work required to position and create public awareness of the Commission across relevant sector audiences including the wider Victorian community.
This role will also support the operation of the Registration Board by coordinating and delivering communication activities as part of the Communications and Engagement Strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Commission's goals, priorities and key audiences and stakeholders
- Develop an unpaid digital media plan to boost social media presence and website activity
- Develop and deliver unpaid digital media and communication activities for the Commission's day to day operational requirements and stakeholder events
- Conduct a review of the website to identify improvements to ensure greater useability, functionality, accessibility and engagement to boost website visitation and easy access to information
- Support comms team in the delivery of communication activities along with co-ordination of external suppliers, including preparation of materials, briefings and coordination with other teams
- Work collaboratively across the Commission to ensure the delivery of effective communications that are of a high written and visual standard and which comply with Commission and whole-of-Victorian Government guidelines, including best practice accessibility and inclusion standards
- Initiate and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
**About You**:
- Demonstrated experience designing web based digital and social media strategies that increase engagement and include this as part of developing integrated communication campaign
- Ability to set clearly defined objectives and priorities and operates accordingly, reviewing and adjusting as required; identifies processes, tasks and resources required to achieve a goal
- Identifies and responds to clients' underlying needs, and uses understanding of the client or stakeholder's organisational context to tailor services and ensure a high-quality response
- Looks beyond the obvious to provide outstanding levels of service
- Constructively deals with service issues that arise in a timely manner
- Develops and creates compelling, persuasive and creative content, to support behaviour change goals
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- A tertiary qualification in fields related to communications, marketing or associated disciplines would be advantageous
- To be successful in this role you will have experience in multi-disciplined stakeholder or communications roles, ideally within government
