About the Role Join our team as a Grade 2 Social Worker on a full time ongoing basis to work within the Cranbourne CCT, based at the Cranbourne Community Hospital.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
In this role, you will: Manage a caseload of clients, providing recovery-focused care.
Participate in daily team functions including duty roles, crisis management, and multi-agency liaison.
Deliver care both onsite and in clients' homes.
Apply your knowledge of mental health legislation, policy, and clinical expertise.
About Us The Casey Area Mental Health Service is led by a dynamic and supportive leadership team committed to delivering innovative, recovery-oriented care.
We serve the growing South East corridor through both inpatient and community-based services.
The Cranbourne Community Mental Health Team operates Monday to Sunday, 8:30am–5:00pm, providing comprehensive support to adults with complex mental health needs.
Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to promoting independence, self-efficacy, and social inclusion.
About You You are a Social Worker with a genuine passion and interest in working with patients within the mental health space, combined with proven experience and effective assessment and intervention skills.
You have proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively and readily build strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the delivery of client centred care.
Your strong communication skills and empathetic approach enable you to build trust and rapport with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams alike.
Your working history will demonstrate your recent experience as a Social Worker and you are described as someone who is adaptable, organised, and confident in navigating the challenges, including managing a diverse caseload and supporting clients with varying levels of need.
