BUSINESS OVERVIEW
Hay Australia prides itself on exporting quality hay to our customers around the world. Working closely with our growers, we purchase hay to process then export to via our robust supply chain network.
We have recently embarked on a phase of rapid growth, which includes the acquisition of four hay processing facilities in WA, VIC and SA operating under the Hay Australia brand, making our group a leader in the Australian Export Hay industry.
Our parent company, AgTrade, is a wholly Australian owned global livestock, genetics and food security group with a 50 year history.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
* Plan, manage and evaluate all aspects of export container movements liaising with internal stakeholders, transport companies and shipping lines.
* Manage container bookings and documentation related to outbound sea shipments.
* Coordinate with production team for timely production schedule and loading.
* Highlight delays to shipping manager and other stakeholders.
* Report and communicate to internal stakeholders on logistics performance.
* Resolve problems concerning transport, logistics systems and exports.
* Manage relationships and monitor performance of logistics partners.
* Be willing to coordinate additional freight movement as required.
* Allocate cost and process transport invoices.
* Manage other general administration tasks as required.
* Liaise with other departments and stakeholders and follow up on issues when required.
* Consignment record keeping for internal and external quality and auditing.
* Assisting with Inventory Adjustments

* Previous experience in agri-business and/or logistics.
* Experience with NetSuite and or BSM environment preferred and export container processes.
* The proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
