Our client is a global leader in transport and distribution, seeking an Accountant to support financial reporting and month‑end processes across a complex operation. This role offers an ambitious accounting professional a broad, analytical position within a high‑performing finance team.
Job Description
* Prepare monthly financial reports in a timely and accurate manner
* Assist the month‑end process, including preparation of site P&Ls and variance investigation
* Ensure accurate reporting of business revenues and costs across sectors
* Partner with operational teams to ensure accuracy in billing and profitability reporting
* Manage and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Review overhead costs across sites and cost centres each month
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies
Qualifications
* Degree in Accounting or Finance
* CA/CPA (completed or in progress) highly regarded
* 2‑5 years of experience in management accounting or financial accounting roles
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down and interpret complex data sets
* Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
