Our client is a growing Brisbane-based engineering and technical services company delivering electrical and control systems projects across manufacturing, industrial refrigeration, fuel terminals, mining and general industry. Engineers work across the full project lifecycle — from concept and design through installation and commissioning, supported by an experienced in-house electrical trades team. They are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of industrial projects.

They are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of industrial projects.
About The Role
This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on industrial electrical design, automation integration and site commissioning. You will act as a technical lead on projects while working closely with technicians and site teams to deliver practical electrical and control solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead electrical design activities across industrial projects
* Prepare engineering documentation including drawings, schematics and work packs
* Ensure designs comply with Australian standards including AS3000
* Support integration of PLC and control systems
* Participate in site inspections, commissioning and troubleshooting
* Coordinate with technicians, electricians and clients during project delivery
* Mentor junior engineers and review technical work
* Assist with technical scoping, quoting and project planning

* Location: Brisbane, QLD
* Travel: Mostly local site visits with occasional regional travel

RequirementsAbout You
* 6-10+ years experience in industrial electrical engineering
* Strong electrical design capability and documentation experience
* Hands-on commissioning or industrial site experience
* Familiar with AS3000 and Australian electrical standards
* Experience working with technicians and site teams
* Exposure to automation or control systems integration
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or related discipline)
* RPEQ, CPEng, or working toward registration preferred
* Valid driver's licence
* Full Australian working rights required
Nice to Have
* Experience in manufacturing, mining or industrial facilities
* Hazardous area exposure
* Exposure to PLC or SCADA systems
* Some experience with project estimation or scoping
