Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join our team.
* This role sits in the crew responsible for building a digital-first customer experience. From web, through to native mobile app experiences, up and down the full banking stack, you will be able to bring your skills to the table and deliver capabilities that our customers love.
You will be responsible for shaping the evolution of the end-to-end customer experience by designing and developing micro services, data access layers, GraphQL types, managing new and existing REST API(s) and integrating third-party API. You will be managing risks with feature toggles, continuous deployments and effective automated testing.
Tech Skills
* TypeScript, NodeJS, NextJS, GraphQL, React
* AWS or Azure knowledge
* Containerization, such as Docker or Kubernetes
* CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus Deploy
* Splunk or Observability experience
* Automation test frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright
Requirements
* You should be comfortable working independently and have excellent problem-solving skills.
* Pride yourself in delivering high-quality software solutions and contributing to the overall team culture.
* Be interested in the home lending space – a deep domain with multiple facets and complexities.
* Have a strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
* Be willing to mentor junior engineers and share knowledge to uplift and improve software development practices.
* Be a team player who is happy to take time for peer design/code reviews and apply software reuse principles.
