The Legal Industry Is Changing. Be on the Right Side of It.
You've seen it coming.
Every major firm is talking about AI. Every legal publication is writing about it. Every forward-thinking lawyer knows that the profession is about to fundamentally change.
The question is: do you want to watch that transformation happen, or do you want to be one of the people driving it?
At AI Legal Assistant, we're building Australia's most advanced AI platform for lawyers. We're trusted by law firms across Australia and New Zealand, and we're on a mission to become the global benchmark in legal AI.
We're looking for a
Legal AI Customer Success Associate
—a lawyer with 3+ years of experience who's ready to pivot into a high-growth career at the intersection of law and technology. Someone hungry, sharp, and ready to win.
Location:
Australia or New Zealand (Remote)
Why This Role, Why Now
AI isn't coming to law—it's already here. The lawyers who understand this technology, who can teach others how to use it, and who position themselves at the centre of this shift will have extraordinary careers.
This role puts you there.
You'll work directly with law firms and legal teams, training them on AI, helping them transform their workflows, and becoming their trusted advisor on legal technology. You'll be the person they call when they want to understand how AI can make them better, faster, and more competitive.
Your legal experience gives you instant credibility. Your drive and communication skills will do the rest.
What You'll Do
Training & Education:
Train new and existing clients on how to extract maximum value from our AI platform. Help lawyers understand what's possible and how to get there.
Product Demonstrations:
Deliver compelling, high-energy demos to prospective clients. Show them what the future of legal practice looks like—and why they need to be part of it.
Customer Onboarding & Success:
Guide new clients through setup and adoption. Be relentless about ensuring they succeed with the platform and see real results.
AI Prompting & Adoption Guidance:
Teach legal professionals how to communicate effectively with AI—prompt engineering tailored to legal use cases that deliver accurate, context-aware results.
Advocate for Change:
Many lawyers are hesitant about AI. Your job is to bring them along, help them see the value, and champion transformation within their firms.
Legal-Tech Advisory:
Act as a trusted advisor, identifying inefficiencies in current processes and recommending AI-powered solutions that align with their business goals.
Lead Management:
Manage our CRM system, handling inbound and outbound communications to nurture client relationships and drive engagement.
Product Feedback Loop:
Be the bridge between clients and our product team. Capture feedback, identify patterns, and help shape the platform based on real-world legal needs.
Content & Resource Development:
Assist in creating educational content—knowledge base articles, tutorials, training materials—that empower clients to become confident, independent AI users.
Team Collaboration:
Work directly with our CEO and coordinate with support and tech teams to align strategies and elevate service delivery.
Who We're Looking For
Legal Experience:
3+ years as a practising lawyer. You understand how law firms operate, how lawyers think, and what good legal work looks like.
Hungry & Ambitious:
You're not content to coast. You want a career with trajectory, impact, and real upside. You're competitive and you play to win.
Believer in AI:
You're not sceptical about AI in law—you're excited about it. You see it as the biggest opportunity in the profession and you want to be part of it.
Exceptional Communicator:
You can explain complex concepts simply. You're persuasive, engaging, and comfortable presenting to senior lawyers and partners.
Fast Learner & Tech-Savvy:
You pick things up quickly. You're comfortable with technology and genuinely enjoy learning new tools and platforms.
Resilient & Adaptable:
You thrive in fast-paced environments. You're flexible, resourceful, and ready to do whatever it takes to succeed.
Willing to Travel:
Occasional travel for client engagements and team meet-ups is part of the role.
