Achieve Something Great

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering high‐quality research support and evidence‐based information services across the Hospitals. You will coordinate literature search services, assist staff with research projects and systematic reviews, and contribute to research data management, research metrics, and scholarly publishing. You will also design and deliver a comprehensive research skills program, supported by online learning resources that promote independent learning. Working closely with departments and individual staff, you will build strong collaborative relationships that enhance patient care, professional development, and research outcomes. In addition, you will identify, catalogue, and promote the archival collection to preserve the Hospitals' history, while contributing to service planning, quality improvement, and the ongoing development of print and electronic collections.

Are You the Right Fit?

We are seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic environment that blends client‐focused information services with leadership, collaboration, and hands‐on library expertise. You will support users through enquiries, orientations, and tailored research assistance, while also supervising staff and volunteers when required. The role offers variety and scope—from cataloguing archives to evaluating services, from developing LibGuides to managing collections—making it ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and practical library work. If you bring initiative, strong communication skills, and a commitment to evidence‐based practice, you will make a meaningful contribution to a forward‐looking Library service that supports the goals of NSW Health, SWSLHD, and the Hospitals.
