Already highly successful in our Warrnambool and Mount Gambier clinics, we are excited to bring this service to more patients in the Warrnambool region offering comprehensive skin cancer detection and ongoing surveillance.
About the role
We are looking for a charismatic, part-time 2 days per week, Melanographer (Registered Nurse) to join our vibrant team of professionals to specialise in melanoma detection.
Consulting with clients directly and personally in a one to one setting, you will be delivering education and a variety of services through the use of advanced practice and technology.
We seek a dynamic, motivated and experienced Registered Nurse who stands out from the crowd - with a strong clinical, service and commercial mindset.
This role will suit nurses interested in working one on one with clients, skin health, melanoma and dermatology.
This position is open to all Registered Nurses with an interest in skin cancer prevention. We provide extensive formal training. Working towards a health qualification recognised in NZ and Australia will form part of your induction (Training may require travel and attendance at metropolitan locations if you do not currently hold a Melanography qualification).
Essential for the role
1. APRHA registration & required CPD points.
2. Minimum 4 years recent nursing experience.
Desirable for the role
1. Practice nurse experience or Melanography experience.
