As a Global Risk Specialist, you are a critical guardian of our operational integrity. You are responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational and jurisdictional risks across Swyftx's local and international entities, including Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.
You will work at the heart of the action, collaborating closely with Compliance, Product, Operations, and Customer Service teams to implement effective risk management strategies in a rapidly evolving regulatory and digital asset environment.

* Driving Resilience: Ensuring robust enterprise risk management frameworks are in place and functioning effectively across the group.
* Strategic Risk Alignment: Supporting the design and monitoring of controls to ensure every move we make aligns with our risk appetite.
* Board‐Level Impact: Providing the insights and reporting necessary to guide the Enterprise Risk and Compliance Committee and the Board.

Your Core Responsibilities
* Framework Governance: Maintain and evolve the risk management framework, ensuring our enterprise risk register and risk appetite statements are current and comprehensive.
* Global Risk Assessment: Lead the identification and assessment of operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic risks across our global business activities.
* Innovation Oversight: Conduct deep‐dive risk assessments for new products, emerging markets, and strategic partnerships to ensure safe scaling.
* Strategic Reporting: Translate complex risk indicators and emerging threats into clear, actionable papers, dashboards, and insights for senior management and the Board.
* Change Leadership: Assist with the planning and implementation of risk‐related initiatives, ensuring a "risk‐aware" culture across the wider Swyftx business.
* Cross‐Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal leaders to monitor risk indicators and provide expert guidance on any reasonable duties as the landscape shifts.
Technical & Behavioral Strengths
* Risk Veteran: 5+ years in a risk management or risk and compliance role, preferably within a fast‐paced financial or tech environment.
* Strategic Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a natural talent for building rapport and delivering complex information to stakeholders.
* Project Mastery: Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple global projects and meet strict deadlines without losing attention to detail.
* Analytical Mindset: Ability to monitor emerging threats and produce data‐driven insights that protect the business.
* Integrity‐Driven: High standards of personal integrity and a commitment to maintaining "trusted expert" status.
* Academic Grounding: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
