Trentham Electrical & Solar is a well-established regional electrical and renewable energy business delivering high-quality solar, battery, EV charging and electrical solutions across the Hepburn and Macedon Ranges.
We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Electrician to lead solar and battery installations and support the day-to-day delivery of projects.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
* Leading residential and light commercial solar installations
* Installing and commissioning battery storage systems
* Hybrid and backup systems
* EV charger installations
* Managing apprentices and trades on site
* Ensuring compliance with AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 4777
* Maintaining high workmanship and safety standards
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone confident running jobs independently.
Essential Requirements
* A Grade A Electrical Licence (VIC)
* Proven solar installation experience
* Proven battery installation experience (AC and/or DC coupled)
* Strong understanding of compliance and grid connection requirements
* Ability to interpret system designs and single line diagrams
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Current driver's licence
Solar and battery experience is mandatory. Applications without relevant experience will not be considered.
