Job Description:
As a skilled contracts administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management and administration of civil engineering projects.
You will be responsible for overseeing contract execution, managing contractual obligations, and mitigating risks while fostering positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the contracting process with new clients, ensuring all legal aspects are covered.
* Develop and maintain processes for creating projects, including setting up files and ensuring contracts are signed and stored correctly.
* Monitor project processes to identify shortfalls and develop robust procedures for improvement.
* Identify and monitor project risks, reporting emerging issues to the Commercial Team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will require:
* A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in contract administration or project management within the civil engineering or construction industry.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex contractual documents and identify potential risks.
