Overview
Location: Melbourne | Employment type: Full-time (hybrid) | Duration: 4-6 months (with possibility of extension) | This is an opportunity to join an organisation in the Government sector
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day management of a number of litigation proceedings
liaise with external legal providers and internal clients
prepare internal briefs
contribute to policy-related matters
Qualifications
Very strong Victorian civil litigation experience
Construction law experience would be a bonus
You can work autonomously and maintain a high professional standard, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Adaptable, adaptable and able to fit in with established work practices
Team player with the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced team
Minimum of 5 years' experience
Ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business
Current practising certificate
Right to live and work in Australia
