Overview
Location: Melbourne | Employment type: Full-time (hybrid) | Duration: 4-6 months (with possibility of extension) | This is an opportunity to join an organisation in the Government sector
Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day management of a number of litigation proceedings
* liaise with external legal providers and internal clients
* prepare internal briefs
* contribute to policy-related matters
Qualifications
* Very strong Victorian civil litigation experience
* Construction law experience would be a bonus
* You can work autonomously and maintain a high professional standard, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Flexible, adaptable and able to fit in with established work practices
* Team player with the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced team
* Minimum of 5 years' experience
* Ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business
* Current practising certificate
* Right to live and work in Australia
