Your responsibilities: Manage existing accounts and develop strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and trade contractors to become their trusted first point of contact and drive service excellence. Assist with counter sales, order processing, packing, and dispatch to ensure smooth daily operations. Support team training, safety practices, and development initiatives to foster a high-performing branch environment. Maintain branch systems and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. Accurately process financial transactions, including cash handling, to support branch integrity. Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and profitability by supporting local growth initiatives. What you’ll need to succeed: Ideally, you will have strong product knowledge in the plumbing wholesale industry. Experience in plumbing or trade distribution will be highly regarded. You’re an upbeat and personable professional with prior experience working in a similar leadership role. You have excellent communication skills and your ability to build strong relationships and establish rapport is second to none. You have a high level of initiative and self-confidence – you are always prepared to jump in to do what it takes for the team to succeed. You are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing the best solutions for your customers. Strong attention to detail and business acumen.
