About the Role
We are seeking an experienced TEKCEL CNC Router Operator to join our busy workshop team. This hands‑on role is critical to our production process, supporting the manufacture of high-quality signage and fabricated components.
You will be responsible for operating our TEKCEL CNC router to cut and machine a wide range of materials with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and monitor TEKCEL CNC routers
* Load and run programs, making adjustments as required
* Cut materials including ACM, acrylic, plastics, timber, and aluminium
* Read and interpret job sheets, drawings, and specifications
* Ensure jobs are completed to Project Neon's quality standards and deadlines
* Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
* Work closely with the design, print, and fabrication teams
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience operating a TEKCEL CNC Router (essential)
* Experience in signage, joinery, or fabrication (highly regarded)
* CAD/CAM experience (desirable but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of workplace health and safety
