**Purchasing and Procurement Officer Role Summary:**
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Purchasing and Procurement Officer. As part of our procurement function, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate procurement of spare parts and services.
**Key Responsibilities:*
* Manage the purchase order process from creation to delivery;
* Develop and manage the engineering inventory process via our ERP system;
* Support the Engineering Manager with contract supply agreements;
* Deliver cost savings through vendor negotiations, price list benchmarking, and preferred supplier agreements;
* Prepare spare parts and materials financial reports;
* Assist in the coordination and procurement of Engineering components for Capital projects;
Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualification in Supply Chain or Engineering and/or equivalent experience in inventory controlling within a manufacturing facility;
* Knowledge of invoicing, payments, process, and administration;
* Solid knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management;
* Knowledge of ERP systems and computerized maintenance management systems;
* Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills;
