Civic Grocer are looking for a reliable and hard-working sales assistant to join their team. Civic Grocer is a locally owned and operated grocery store and is part of a wider network of stores across the Hunter region. Our employees are passionate about offering customers with exceptional customer service and a positive retail experience.
About You
* You have customer service, POS and cash-handling experience
* You have a reliable car and drivers' license or are within a reasonable distance of the store to access it via walking or public transport.
* You are independent, enthusiastic, motivated and capable of following instruction
* Availability to work flexible schedule if needed (including early mornings and evenings)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Serving and assisting customers in a professional manner
* Working individually to open and/or close the store
* Upholding store standards of cleanliness and stock presentation
* Attention to detail, the ability to work in accordance with secure work practices and store procedures
