Randstad is currently seeking an experienced Auditor to join a high-performing government team. 1 month contract | Brisbane QLD Key Responsibilities Undertake comprehensive fieldwork for financial and assurance audits. This includes conducting interim and final testing, audit planning, and investigating client data to identify potential risks. Coordinate the day-to-day operations of lower-risk audits. You will manage the program of work, including scoping, resourcing, and budgeting to ensure delivery remains on track. Prepare clear, professional reports and presentations. You will communicate complex findings and risks to clients, converting technical audit data into actionable insights. Support the supervision and review of team working papers and the work of experts, ensuring consistent quality and effective methodology across the board. Essential Experience include: Previous experience in financial or assurance auditing is required. A deep understanding of Auditing, Assurance, and Accounting. Ability to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders with clarity, sensitivity, and professionalism. A proactive approach to research, problem-solving, and meeting strict budgetary and time frame requirements. A degree in Accounting, or a related field is essential.
