Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Officer to start ASAP on a 6-month temporary contract.
Our client is a leading supply company to Australia and Recent Zealand industry, offering a dynamic work environment in a location that is easily accessible by car or public transport
This position is offered as an initial 6-month temporary contract with an immediate start required.
Previous experience with MS Dynamics is desirable, with an essential requirement for an intermediate level of excel skills.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Manager, this role will see you working in a friendly and team focused workplace where your duties will include:
Accounts Receivable; allocating and receipting of payments, daily banking, assisting with the collection of outstanding payments
Accounts Payable; keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements
Performing daily bank reconciliations
Producing financial reports
Continuing to identify areas for process improvement
Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 2 years' experience in a high-volume transactional workplace.
You will possess an intermediate level of Excel skills (pivot tables/ V-lookups), with an aptitude to learn new finance systems quickly.
Previous experience with MS Dynamics is preferred, but not essential.
Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.
