About the role
We are seeking experienced Tyre Fitters to join our team at ASSOCIATED COLD TREAD TYRES in North Geelong. We have full-time positions for experienced Truck Tyre Service Fitters with at least 12 months tyre fitting experience.
We also have a position for a hands-on Supervisor to provide exceptional customer service by coordinating service work and performing occasional tyre fitting tasks as required.

What you'll be doing
* Strip, fit and balance tyres for various vehicles, including cars, trucks, tractors and heavy machinery
* Provide tyre services at customers premises and farms, according to experience, ability and training
* Perform comprehensive tyre inspections and identify any required repairs or replacements
* Provide excellent customer service and advice on tyre maintenance and selection
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality
* Contribute to the efficient operations of the workshop and assist colleagues as needed
Supervisor (hands-on)
As a hands-on Supervisor, you will utilise your extensive tyre fitting expertise to deliver outstanding customer service, coordinate and prioritise service jobs, and perform some tyre fitting as needed. You will communicate confidently with customers and teammates, support service fitters in their work, and ensure timely, high-quality workmanship to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 6 months' experience as a Tyre Fitter
* Strong knowledge of tyre fitting techniques and equipment, tyre types, sizes and vehicle compatibility
* Customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
* Good physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods and manoeuvre heavy tyres
* Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
