A great opportunity has risen to join our dynamic Centre Management team as Marketing Coordinator. The position requires a team player with excellent communication skills who can successfully multi-task and who is looking for a new challenge in an incredible retail environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and Centre Manager, this full-time position offers you the opportunity to play a vital role in the success of South.Point Shopping Centre, being a key asset in the marketing portfolio of one of Australia's largest privately held property development and investment companies.
This pivotal role within our centre management team will be ideal for a professional with experience in sales and marketing, looking to expand their experience further in a dynamic retail environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
· Working closely with the Marketing Manager to assist with the delivery of positive customer experiences.
· Supporting the Marketing Manager in the delivery of in-centre programs, events, promotions and marketing initiatives.
· Consistent and positive liaison with stakeholders including retailers, contractors and the centre management team to ensure optimum operation and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
· Contribute to the preparation of monthly newsletters, social media content and ongoing communication.
· Assistance in the management and operation of the Centre Rewards App and Centre Gift Cards.
· Contribute to the coordination of the centre content calendar delivering a regular posting schedule aligned with the overarching centre marketing strategy.
· Support compilation of centre sales and traffic figures and analysis of same.
· Liaison with centre management team to deliver effective installation, operation and smooth removal of pop ups while contributing to the enhancement of the centre's visual and presentation standards.
· Working knowledge of Canva or similar program to be able to produce basic artwork.
· Data entry and management, electronic filing, database, and contract management.
· Complete monthly reporting duties as required.
· Ad hoc tasks as required.
Required Skills and Experience
To be successful in this position you will have:
· Experience in a support marketing role and/or social media content creation.
· Excellent communication, negotiation and reporting skills.
· Understanding of social media management principles and practices.
· Competent in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), Word, PowerPoint.
· Desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
