Sorby Hills is Australia's largest undeveloped near-surface lead–silver deposit, supported by granted mining leases, EPA approval, and proximity to established infrastructure, including Wyndham Port only 150 km away.
With permitting and infrastructure already in place, Sorby Hills is uniquely positioned for fast‐track production. Alongside Sorby Hills, Boab is actively exploring its 100%-owned Manbarrum and Eight Mile Creek prospects, strengthening our growth pipeline across the region.
About the position for Sorby Hills Project
Boab Metals Limited is seeking Junior Office Administrator to support our office team and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of our business. This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their administrative career who is eager to learn and grow within a professional corporate environment.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide general administrative and office support to ensure efficient office operations. This role suits someone who is organised, proactive and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely work.
You will be part of our upcoming office relocation to Osborne Park this June, enjoying a modern workspace overlooking the city skyline with a picturesque view. This role is embedded in the daily rhythm of the office and onsite presence plays an important part in supporting collaboration, communication and overall workplace experience.
Key roles and responsibilities
* Provide general office administration and reception support
* Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries
* Maintain and replenish kitchen and pantry supplies, including oversight of kitchen appliances (e.g. dishwasher and coffee machine)
* Coordinate catering for morning teas, internal meetings and events
* Organise meetings, manage calendars and oversee meeting room bookings
* Welcome new starters and coordinate onboarding logistics
* Liaise and manage IT resources for new and existing employees, including laptops, phones, swipe access and system access requests
* Perform data entry and maintain electronic and hard copy records
* Prepare documents and manage filing and archiving systems
* Order office supplies and support office‐wide upkeep and presentation
* Provide responsive, ad‐hoc administrative support to Managers and the wider team
Skills and experience
* Previous office administration, or customer service experience is an advantage
* Well‐organised with strong attention to detail
* Enjoys supporting people and creating a positive first impression
* Takes pride in maintaining a tidy, professional office environment
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Reliable, proactive and willing to learn
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
