Disability Support Worker Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Support clients with mental health, physical, and intellectual disabilities in their homes and communities
* Assist with personal care, domestic assistance, community access, and manual handling
* Manage accurate and detailed shift reports, including progress notes and incident reports
* Administer medication, prepare meals, manage diabetes, epilepsy, PEG feeding, bladder and bowel care
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months paid experience supporting individuals living with disabilities
* Minimum Cert III or higher in relevant field
* 2 Covid-19 vaccination doses
* Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Working with children check & NDIS Worker Check
* National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
* Driver licence and own comprehensively insured car (preferred)
