**The Opportunity**:
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working with Project Managers to improve the document control processes, procedures, and systems for projects.
- Liaising with relevant Ampcontrol sections and ensuring alignment with existing Ampcontrol policies and procedures.
- Developing and maintaining a suitable formal regime for document control that is easily understood and used by those working within the division.
- Supporting and working with colleagues to ensure that the document control systems are being used effectively to achieve the aims of good, professional document control.
- Developing and maintaining the relevant document libraries required.
- Updating and educating the relevant parties on the procedures and processes that have been developed.
- Ensuring there is a tracking system in place to monitor and manage the document development progress on all active work and tenders.
- Ensuring that drawings and any other related technical documentation are properly managed and controlled between the project, design, and site teams.
**What We're Looking For**:
Your ability to encourage colleagues to become effective users of the document control system will also be met with the following:
- Proven experience in Document Control, ideally within the Mining, Infrastructure / Utilities, Oil & Gas, Construction, or relevant industries.
- Experienced in the use of Aconex and SharePoint (Preferable). Project Wise & EDM (Optional Bonus).
- Strong knowledge of document control processes and document management systems.
- Confident in resolving problems - both technical and organisational implementation matters.
- A high level of attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of work.
