Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to lead and optimize coal processing operations, enhance yield, quality, and efficiency. As part of our CHPP team, you will work collaboratively with various teams across mining, maintenance, planning, and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and optimize coal processing operations to improve yield, quality, and efficiency.
* Monitor and analyze plant performance metrics, implementing continuous improvement strategies.
* Collaborate with teams to achieve operational excellence and ensure compliance with environmental, safety regulations, and company standards.
* Define and execute projects aimed at improving process stability and exceeding safety and performance targets.
* Provide technical guidance to production teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
A Bachelor's degree in Mining, Chemical, or Process Engineering, Applied Science, or Metallurgy.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in coal processing, coal preparation plants, or mineral beneficiation.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with processing plant software and data systems.
Proficiency in Power BI and Excel; knowledge of 1SAP, Pi Vision, AMPLA, and Citect is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
A strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
A good understanding of process safety systems and technical management of change.
A current C Class driver's license.
