Due to their increased client demand and continued business growth, one of our established clients based in the South-West region of WA are seeking an HSEQ Coordinator available for an immediate start on a dayshift only, 7/7 roster.
You must be based within 1 hour commute of Bunbury or be willing to re-locate to the area. Please note there is no relocation assistance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Managing and administration of HSEQ Management systems
- Undertaking workplace inspections and assisting in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures
- Assist in incident investigations and management
- Manage workplace injuries and Workers Compensation
- Participate in safety inductions, training of all employees, and the maintenance of training records
- Assist in the development of HSE Management Plans, SWP's, SWMS, JHA's and Risk Assessments
- Contributing and coordinating of Toolbox meetings
- Monthly HSE performance collation of information / reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar role within a mining environment
- Minimum of Cert IV in OHS
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training highly regarded
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong knowledge of safety systems, risk mitigation, injury management and workplace compliance
- The ability to work autonomously
- A high level of computer literacy
- The ability to work in high pressure environments
