About Our Organisation
Our community-based organisation is dedicated to serving the state of Victoria, with 4,867 volunteers and 292 paid team members. We have a presence across six regions, supporting communities through various initiatives.
The Role
This role involves leading a team of three, reporting directly to the Senior People and Culture Business Partner. Key responsibilities include managing HR activities, providing guidance and support to leaders within the organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and support to managers on all HR functions
* Interpret and provide specialist advice on employment legislation and terms
* Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures
* Lead and contribute to key projects, developing project briefs and strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Effective management of teams to deliver high-quality services
* Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder engagement
* Negotiation and influencing skills to drive decision-making
