Job Description
Opportunities exist to work in a permanent capacity in a 20 chair and 4 bed Day Oncology unit located at Epworth Richmond, Melbourne. You will be responsible for providing evidenced-based care to Oncology and Haematology patients as well as other conditions requiring specialist infusional care.
You will join an expanding comprehensive oncology services department and be part of an exceptionally patient-focused team who are friendly and passionate about providing individualised care.
You will make an impact by-
* Delivering high quality nursing care and an exceptional patient experience within the Day Oncology Unit
* Utilising your critical thinking skills and evidence-based approach to the clinical care of patients
* Offering oncology education and support to patients and their families
* Ensuring patient flow is managed whilst providing high standards of patient care
To be successful in this role-
You are an experienced oncology or haematology nurse who is passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes. A strong communicator, you have a supportive and engaging style that enables you to easily build rapport with patients and their families. You enjoy collaborating with team members to support the development and growth of the service.
You will have-
* Current nursing registration with AHPRA
* Previous Oncology/Haematology nursing experience required
* Current competence and certificate in administration of cytotoxic agents
* Contemporary knowledge of best practice in cancer nursing care

* Relevant Graduate/Post Graduate qualification
* Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)

Registered Nurses – AUD $71,622 - $100,564 + super + entitlements and Enrolled Nurses – AUD $71,224 - $78,401 + super + entitlements
